All the old timber roofline boards (fascias, soffit and barges) were removed and replaced with a fully replacement u.P.V.C. board, including new u.P.V.C. rainwater deepflow guttering. This provides a fully non maintenance roofline and can readily brighten up the buildings appearance.
A grade II listed town property with many of the roof areas totally refurbished. A mixture of coverings can be viewed, from natural slates and Cotswold stone to lead coverings of the flat roof and internal valley gutters. The side wall was re-rendered and the timber framed window renewed. New cast iron guttering was fitted along with the wall brackets exactly matching the original. A new conservation roof window sits nicely into the refurbished lead covered roof. The work was recognised by the Chippenham Civic Society for good conservation work.
